Full biography
Born in Puebla, Andrés Alejandro discovered early on that music was his bridge to emotion. He grew up listening to Julio Iglesias, Luis Miguel, Emmanuel and Alejandro Fernández, artists who did more than sing: they told the stories people carried inside without knowing how to say them. Today he is known as El Sentimiento de México.
His calling took shape at Universidad de las Américas Puebla, where he studied International Relations and founded his first band. His recording journey began in Miami, where he recorded his first production under the direction of Tulio Cremisini, a producer with a track record at Universal Music. He then released Yo Soy, produced by David Benítez, an album of Latin pop with introspective lyrics.
His career also includes public service and social entrepreneurship: he served as Director of Funds for Social Enterprises at Mexico's Ministry of Economy and as the first Director General of the National Association of Microfinance Institutions and Funds.
On stage he has built shows such as Clásicos sin Fronteras and the Tribute to Julio Iglesias, presented at the Auditorio Metropolitano and the Museo Internacional del Barroco in Puebla with a live band and a stage narrative designed so audiences do not just watch the show, but live it. He is also preparing Raíces de América, a journey through the great songs of Mexico and Latin America in an acoustic pop style with a flamenco soul.
Every concert is part of México y sus Causas: in December 2025 he presented the first edition of his cause-driven concert benefiting the Puebla and Tlaxcala Food Bank, and on December 11, 2026 he presents the second. He is currently recording a new album of original material, with arrangements by Salo Loyo, and is the author of the novel El Señor de las Palomas, written as Andrés Rodríguez and available in six languages.
